Meanwhile Result: Salvia causes an extraordinary hallucinations

Views Hallucinations caused by Salvia
Salvia, known as Miley Cyrus is sucked out of the bong is a drug, short-acting powerful hallucinations, such as stated by the experts, published in Science Magazine. Although its popularity is known as a recreational drug, but little is known about the effects of these plants, which is a type of mint that comes from Mexico.
But researchers at Johns Hopkins University recently completed the first experiment with the drug test conducted on human subjects. In more than 20 sessions, the participants various doses of inhaled salvinorin A very pure, plant psychoactive substances, or given a placebo. their vital signs are monitored and the test subjects were asked about their experiences.

The results mentioned:  the effects of salvinorin A are incredible strong and peaked at two minutes after inhalation. After 20 minutes, the effect is almost lost. Drug appears to act at the kappa-opioid receptors in the brain, with a dull pain, but not on the same receptor targeted by addictive opiates. Over time, as they increase the dosage, the test subjects said that their hallucinations become stronger and seems to have contact with entities from other dimensions.

"With this drug, the intensity of the peak, they describe as pops out and visit a completely different world. Some people say, it seems like another dimension or perhaps the spirit world." said study author Matthew Johnson, an experimental psychologist at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

The researchers saw no changes in blood pressure or heart rate to the highest doses. But they said the study was too small to draw conclusions about the safety or long-term effects caused by salvia. They are currently trying to expanding the size of the study to gather more data.
